Love Where you Live
08 August 2026 | Bellville Church of Christ
What a beautiful day it was. On 08 August 2026, over 500 ladies gathered at Bellville Church of Christ for a day that none of us will soon forget.
Centred around the theme of Peace, Grace and Hope — drawn from Romans 5:1–5 — this year's Ladies Day was a powerful reminder of who we are and Whose we are.
Three incredible speakers brought the Word to life, each touching hearts through personal testimony, biblical truth, and the kind of warmth that only comes from women walking closely with the Lord.
From the moment the doors opened, there was a spirit of togetherness that filled the room. We sang together, laughed together, enjoyed a wonderful shared meal, and simply were together — Sisters in Christ, from all walks of life, united in faith.
The unity and warmth in the room was unmistakable. Whether you were attending for the first time or have been part of Ladies Day for years, the day left its mark on every heart.
To every lady who attended, organised, spoke, served, and prayed — thank you. You are a treasure.
Peace in your heart. Grace in your walk. Hope for your journey.

THE DISTINCTIVE NATURE OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST
The nature of the church at Bellville is not one that has its origins in the mind of it's members or even it's leaders or ministers. The distinctive nature comes from a desire found deep in the heart of the author of our faith Jesus Christ for we must take pre-eminence in all that we do and say. The reason we address the issue of distinctiveness is that of course the word “distinctive” implies that the church of Christ is a spiritual organism that sets one apart from others. Anyone with the power of observation recognises that there are multitudes of religious bodies in existence seeking attention.
The church takes its mark from the Gospel which is not only authoritative but the embarkation point for us as His disciples, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Mat 28:19-20 NIV)
