Visitation

MATTHEW 25:36 “I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Objectives
Few things build a sense of family like encouraging words when you need them the most. It is hard not to be drawn together whenever your spiritual brothers and sisters go out of their way to encourage you and lift you up in times of need by making a call, sending an email or visiting. Encouragement says, "I am with you. I care about you. You matter to us and to GOD!" This ministry ensures that no one falls through the cracks. For those members of the congregation blessed with the spiritual gift of encouragement, a platform is created to live this gift to the full.

GUIDELINES
The intention is to ensure that no member’s absence goes unnoticed
An attendance roster is kept up to date
Those who have not attended for any length of time are called or visited to find out what their needs are
This ministry is there to accurately and timeously account for anyone in need of care
Time of reaction is shortened and help can be sent sooner than later
